About MYP Online classes
My MYP Online classes:
- Studies group courses in Language and Literature (Group 1)
2. Language acquisition group courses (group 2)
What is my teaching philosophy?
In teaching, I use many different strategies and instill confidence in my students by teaching simple, easy-to-remember reading and writing strategies. I work on my students’ goal of acquiring the skills to do the work themselves in preparation for the evaluations of the MYP program.
MYP Online Courses:
The courses I offer in the MYP is one of the most important of preparations for the highest level of study of the International Baccalaureate, the Diploma program
For many students, I offer the MYP an enhanced online classroom experience, even if a diploma is not the end goal.
Like the Diploma Program, in the Middle Years Program I focus on providing students with a real-world learning experience, connecting their studies to the world around them.
In general, the MYP is more of a teaching framework rather than a rigorous curriculum. Therefore, the teaching courses are designed within specific criteria, and a comprehensive program, based on the full student experience with the provision of rigorous studies implemented through various educational strategies and in the best practices in the teaching process and advanced techniques that better suit the mission and vision of the schools that offer this program.

“Where possible, it is recommended that the student has at least one semester in MYP language and literature before starting the DP courses listed in Table 1.
MYP students in this language acquisition phase 6 could prepare and register for the IB MYP bilingual certificate by taking two language and literature on-screen examinations.
A student who achieves phase 6 early in the MYP (year 1–3) could progress to a language and literature course in the same language in year 4 and 5. In this case, the students would be eligible for an IB MYP
bilingual certificate by taking two on-screen examinations in language and literature.” Language acquisition guide (for use from September 2020/January 2021) P12
